The longer you wait, the more the pickings get slim and the prices go up. Now, this doesn’t mean you won’t be able to travel. What it means is that you will have to choose carefully and go somewhere where your money can work for you instead of against you.
The Caribbean and South America are two regions where you can get a nice deal. Here are four of the best travel deals for under $450 this June.
There’s so much to love about St. Croix. If you want a beach and Caribbean destination that doesn’t require a passport, St. Croix should be your go-to.

Playa Hermosa should be at the top of your list of beaches to visit. It’s a calm beach known for great swimming. For water sports, head up to Ocotal for scuba diving. Tamarindo is a great place if you want to enjoy the beach and party later because it’s surrounded by international restaurants and fun nightlife.
Flights from Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and New York City will get you to Liberia for less than $300 round-trip.
Atlanta, however, is your cheapest option this June. Use June 9 through June 23 as your travel dates for a round-trip ticket on Frontier for $226 round-trip. Hurry! There are not many seats left.
